Metawalker is a pioneering "phygital" (physical and digital) design project developed by Convolo Design. It allows jewellery to be worn and experienced in both the physical world and within the Metawalker augmented reality (AR) application.

The collaboration first debuted at the prestigious Artistar Jewels exhibition during Milano Jewellery Week. 

 

Highlights of the Collaboration

• The Phygital Bangle: The debut piece, the Ryan Phygital Bangle, was crafted from aluminium, balancing a bold statement size with a surprisingly lightweight feel. [1]

• Dual Experience: The bangle was created as a tangible piece to be worn physically, while simultaneously being accessible as a digital item inside the Metawalker AR app. 

• Award-Winning Debut: The innovative design concept received strong recognition, earning two Honourable Mentions at Milano Jewellery Week.
