FUMA EDIFICE

A basic artist impression of the Fuma bangle generates a symphony of double layered symmetry.  A sense of illusory motion creates a dynamic facade that serves multiple purposes, from light penetration to passageways.

The convex, two storey exterior is mirrored upon itself, dividing the structure while allowing shadows to soften into the crease.   Not a very permeable structure, although with an open rooftop and only one segment, it could become a public toilet facility. With opposite entry for various genders on either side of the structure, it could be made efficient.

The nature of a bangle is to have a central void,  at building scale the possibility of adding internal spiral walkways. As homogeneous space, transforming this proposed edifice into an art gallery is also a possibility.
